Find information regarding serviced apartments under this Yellow™ heading. A serviced apartment is an apartment that can be rented out for shorter stays. This apartment unit, in some cases, includes amenities such as room service, housekeeping, etc. Serviced apartment units are sometimes cheaper than hotels. Some serviced apartments include “perks” such as spa service, butler service, etc.
Serviced apartments are generally marketed towards individuals whose stay in a particular area might exceed a normal hotel stay. For example, one might expect to stay in a hotel one to two weeks or less. Serviced apartments generally accommodate guests who plan to stay longer than this, although some do cater to guests for any length of stay.
Serviced apartments can also be referred to as “temporary housing”, as they are designed for individuals to live in temporarily. An example of when these types of serviced apartments could be best used would be if an individual were travelling on business and had to stay in a particular location for an extended length of time. The price of a hotel room would become expensive after a couple of weeks, at which point it would be financially viable to rent out a serviced apartment.
