Information regarding artificial breeding services can be found under this Yellow™ heading. Artificial breeding services are offered by breeders that assist with the impregnation of a female animal. This service is typically provided to animals that are infertile or otherwise not able to become pregnant through sexual intercourse. Artificial breeding services are available for a wide range of animal species.
Artificial insemination for animals is a process requiring the collection of semen from the male. This semen is then injected into the female, in most cases directly into the egg. The process increases the chances of impregnation, as it is a full completion of the reproductive steps needed for conception.
Sperm, in some cases, requires “washing” in order for artificial insemination breeding to occur. This is a process in which non-vital chemicals are removed from the semen to further enhance the possibilities of a successful impregnation. The semen is then injected into the cervix with a syringe, in an attempt to effectively impregnate the female.
