Information on baby prams and where to buy them can be found under this Yellow™ heading. A baby pram is a transportation device for babies, also often referred to as a stroller. The pram typically consists of an area for the child to sit in, set on top of a four-wheeled vehicle that can be pushed from behind. Generally, prams are used to help transport babies short distances (i.e. that one would not use a car or other vehicle for), by walking.
A pram can come in many shapes and sizes. Some are designed to accommodate the seating of two babies or toddlers. These could be useful if an individual has multiple children of similar ages or builds. Other designs are made to accommodate the parent, while engaged in sporting activities, such as running. For example, a stroller designed for a runner might be a bit more aerodynamic, to include larger wheels, less unnecessary room, etc. Still others can be designed to be connected to another type of vehicle, such as a bicycle.
Prams are considered a necessary baby accessory. They can be found at most retail outlets selling baby products, and vary in price depending on which model, style, and / or brand that one chooses.
