Information on bed wetting control systems can be found under this Yellow™ heading. A bed wetting control system is a system designed to assist in the prevention of bedwetting in children. There are several different types of systems designed, each having their own advantages and disadvantages. Bed wetting control systems are also designed to teach children not to wet the bed. Bed wetting control systems are available in several forms, each having their own unique characteristics. Some products sound an alarm or vibration if the bed or underwear becomes wet. This alerts the child and, consequently, the parent in the event of an accident. Other alarms alert just the parent through a wireless or wired system. Waterproof bed sheets don’t offer any type of alert, but do prevent the mattress or box spring from sustaining any type of damage. Bed wetting control systems also offer several different types of alerts to inform parents when an accident occurs. Some have wireless watches that will vibrate if an accident occurs. Others have an alarm unit that can be placed near the parent’s bed and wake them if any accident occurs.
