Parks also offer facilities such as waste dumps, sewage, etc. that are required for RVs or camper vans to operate properly. Such camps are generally used by people on trips and vacations or by people who just like moving around and don’t like to settle at one place.

Parks also have facilities like cooking areas, convenience stores, activity centres, pools, etc. RV parks can vary in size, from ones that will only accommodate a few RVs at a time to ones that can accommodate hundreds of vehicles.

RV campgrounds also offer facilities for other type of camping as well. For example, you might be able to pitch a tent, or simply sleep under the stars in a sleeping bag. Prices vary, and are typically dependent on how much land you will be using and the resources you will use. Facilities too vary from no or limited utilities to amenities that rival top-end hotels.
