Farmers

About the Farmers heading in Yellow™

If you’re searching for information on farmers, try reading further into this Yellow™ heading.  A farmer is defined as an individual who farms a certain crop.  While this is a broad term, the farmer essentially helps to grow a crop that is needed, and is paid a profit for doing so.  Farmers might specialise in a certain area of farming, or might farm general goods.  Specialty farmers will work with a particular crop, giving them a thorough knowledge of how to effectively grow and distribute that particular crop.  Conversely, there are farmers who may be growing a variety of crops.

Specialty farmers can work in a variety of products.  A few examples could be orange farmers, palm tree farmers, etc.  An orange farmer would generally have to be located in a warm climate, as this is what is required to produce such a product.  Palm tree farmers too would be required to live in a warmer climate, whereas as other certain crops might require colder or milder temperatures.  Specialty farmers are generally able to establish relationships with particular customers, such as grocery chains, allowing them to focus more closely on the work as opposed to the distribution phase of the trade.

Farmers can specialise in a variety of items.  Farmers use certain tools to help grow, maintain, and manufacture their products.  Certain machinery helps make their job easier, and allows them to produce the product more effectively, so as to achieve higher profit and produce larger quantities of output.  Some examples of this type of machinery could include tractors, back hoes, or even something as simple as a rake.
