Search for information on paper and plastic containers under this Yellow™ heading. Paper and plastic containers can generally describe just about any type of container that is used to hold, store, or carry something in. One such example could be paper bags or plastic bags which are commonly found in grocery, department, or other types of stores. These types of containers are used to carry the items you’ve purchased in, thus quite simply easing the process. Another type of paper or plastic container could be a box, which could also be used for a variety of purposes.
In today’s world, paper and plastic are among the most widely used resources available, due to their individual traits. Paper can be made into things such as cardboard, and further into a box. Boxes can be used to ship things in, store items, or virtually anything else you can thing of. While boxes are most commonly made from paper, plastic boxes also exist. Though generally more expensive, plastic is a bit more durable than that of cardboard, and thus is able to carry its weight more effectively. Plastic is also a naturally water resistant material, and thus can provide a type of waterproof container for storing things in. This is helpful if the items will be stored in a basement or storage unit, where dampness would be frequent. A plastic box could be helpful with storing holiday decorations, moving to a new home, etc.
Paper and plastic bags are also a great example of containers. These are commonly used in grocery stores, though are also found in other types of stores as well, such as clothing retailers. These types of bags are simply used to help you carry your items in, thus ensuring that you don’t drop or lose anything you’ve purchased. Some types of bags can actually be reused or recycled for other purposes as well, thus ensuring that they don’t end up in a landfill.
