Community Based Non-Profit Educational Programs
Thank you for considering Jumping Jacks Community Preschool for the important years of your child’s education. We look forward to you joining the Jumping Jacks Community Preschool family.

Our philosophy recognises that:

  • All children are individuals.
  • Families and staff can work together to encourage children to reach their full potential.
  • Our community resources provide valuable teaching tools which we incorporate into our programmes. (For example: Visits by local emergency services)

Our preschool has been established on this site since 1986 and has a reputation for providing quality care. We cater for 40 children per day from 3 to 6 years of age who are divided between our two rooms (Blue Room and Green Room). Careful consideration is given to placement of children into appropriate groups. (Please see FAQ tab for more information on traditional attendancepattern)

OUR PROGRAMME - Preschool is an important social environment.

Its important for your child to learn some basic educational concepts, routines & rules, it's also equally important for them to feel comfortable to approach adults/peers to express their needs & wants.Activities are designed for children to practise these skills in a fun environment. In consultation with families, our team develop individual programmes for each child that factors their needs & interests into free play activities, large group music & language lessons and small group activities.

We have regular casual staff and employ additional workers to assist children with additional needs attending our preschool. Our office manager assists with administrative tasks & co-ordinates reduced fees applications.

What are the daily costs and additional cost for extended care?

$38.00 per day; 8.30am – 3.30pm (All absent days attract fees. No fees are charged for public holidays.) Extended care; 3.30pm - 4pm $10.00 per session of care required.
