Purchased a few items and happened to return one with the recepit, still packaged. I was categorically refused with not a hint of apology, but in a rather patronising manner. When I pointed out that there is a cool off period by law, I was further 'put in my place' by the sales attendant, who 'assured' me that they know better and comply with the law pointing at their return policy and stating that they do not have to refund anyone beyond 7 days. The very knowledgeable lady was wrong as the cool off period in QLD Consumer Law is 10 business days. She also failed to understand that good customer service may hurt one's ego, but result in returning customers and recommendations. I will certainly not be back there and no surprise to me that the shop is always empty.
