We're tech-loving geeks who saw something wrong with the way people borrow money and decided to fix it. So we imagined the simplest, fastest, most stress-free way to borrow - then built a technology platform to give loans like never seen before. 

With Nimble, there's no need to suffer through reams of paperwork and painful face to face meetings. Instead, you can safely borrow anywhere from $100 and up to $5,000*, pay it all back comfortably using flexible and extended repayments with a schedule you set up yourself and get on with your life. 

Today Nimble has become a normal part of people's lives with thousands of Australians choosing to "Nimble it" every year. *Approved borrowers may be eligible for a loan from $100 and up to $5,000. Borrowers approved for a Small Loan are only eligible to borrow up to $800 on their first Small Loan. Lending criteria, suitability checks, terms and fees apply.

  • What do I need before I apply?

    To get started, we'll need to know the usual things, like your name, address, phone numbers and employment status. You'll also need to tell us your BSB and bank account number - so we know where to pay you as soon as you're approved.

  • How do I get paid and how fast?

    Once you have applied for a loan and have been approved, your first loan is transferred straight to your bank account within 60 minutes of confirming your loan, if confirmed by 4:30pm AEST during standard banking days. Otherwise the payment will be processed on the next business day. Access to the money is subject to your bank. If you bank with Commbank, you'll be paid within minutes of confirming your loan 7 days a week, including public holidays.

  • I've just repaid my last loan in full. When will my next one be approved?

    It usually takes around 3 business days for your bank to confirm that your payment has cleared. If you need us again, you're welcome to apply for another loan once your repayment has cleared. Then we'll verify the details in your application and let you know if you meet our suitability checks and eligibility criteria.

  • What if I apply outside of business hours?

    If you've applied outside of business hours, we'll need to verify your details which may happen on the next business day (on occasion it may take longer). If you bank with CommBank and are approved for a loan, you'll have money in your account within minutes of confirming your loan - even if you're a first time applicant.

  • How long do I have to wait to get an approval?

    Nimble is a totally new way to borrow money. We've figured out a neat way to give you an instant decision. So you'll know if you're approved straight away - not hours or days later. There's no waiting around for someone to assess your application. You'll have an answer within a minute. You do it all online by filling out the 5 minute application. Then you get an instant decision within seconds of clicking 'Submit'. And you're paid within 60 minutes. It's all ridiculously quick!

  • Can I still get a loan if I have bad credit history?

    If you have a default on your file - we may still be able to help you depending on the circumstances. Nimble may approve loans for some applicants with black marks on their credit history depending on the reason and timing of the mark. Credit history is only part of our application assessment - we also consider other information as a responsible lender.

  • How do I repay Nimble?

    It's super simple - at the time of confirming your loan, you have the ability to set up online, flexible direct debits that suit you. On the day your repayments are due, the money will automatically be collected from the bank account your pay goes into. We'll also send you an SMS the day before repayments are due to help you stay organised. So there's no need for you to do anything except make sure the required funds are available in your bank account.

  • When do I repay Nimble?

    Once you're approved and before confirming your loan, you can stretch your schedule out to suit you. Then each repayment will come out of your account as a direct debit on the allocated repayment dates. To help you stay organised we'll also send you an SMS message the day before a payment is due.

  • I'm experiencing Financial Hardship. What can I do?

    We understand that anyone can go through financial hardship at any time, due to any number of reasons. We understand what this feels like. If you have a loan with Nimble and your repayments have fallen behind, or if you have an upcoming payment you know you won't be able to make, please contact us. The earlier we know what's going on, the more we can do to help. Call our Repayments Team on 133 156 to discuss your account as soon as possible.

  • What is the difference between Nimble’s Small Loans and Medium Loans?

    Nimble offers two types of loans under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth), namely a 'small amount credit contract' (this is Nimble’s Small Loan) and a 'medium amount credit contract' (this is Nimble’s Medium Loan).
