Do you pay for gemstones?

No. As we no longer have a retail outlet, we do not have a use for gemstones anymore. Our business focuses on brokering in gold only. If we can remove your gemstones for you safely, we will do so. Otherwise, we ask you to have any gemstones from your gold jewellery removed before bringing it in to sell.

How much do you pay?

This will depend on the carat of the gold on offer, & the current world price of gold. A price will be worked out in front of you for your gold, & if you are happy with our price, we will pay you on the spot. It's that simple! No prices for jewellery will be given over the phone. We will need to examine any jewellery being offered to us, before any price will be given.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No. We have a waiting room for anyone wanting to sell gold. Our buying times are Mon- Fri, 9:00am-4:00pm, & Saturday mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm.

Do you have a minimum quantity before buying?

No. Hallmark is interested in any gold jewellery you may have to sell, no matter how small the amount.

Do you buy all types of Jewellery?

There is very little that we won't buy. If it is gold, we will certainly buy it. If it isn't gold, we would be more than happy to advise you as to where it can be sold.

Do you pay cash?

Due to security reasons, we do not keep cash on the premises. However, we are more than happy to pay for any jewellery sold to us with a cash cheque which can be cashed immediately at a bank we specify.

Where are you located & do you have any other outlets?

Hallmark has one central buying outlet located in the heart of the city. Our address is 55 Grenfell Street, Adelaide, SA, 5000 (opposite City Cross entrance & near Gawler Place intersection). At this stage, Hallmark has no other buying outlets.
