  • Do you need an electric scooter that can run all day?

The range of the scooter may be important if long distances are required.

  • Is storage space an issue for your travel mobility scooter?

The larger the scooter the more space you need for storage.

  • What accessories does the scooter accommodate?

Different models of medical scooter offer a range of accessories to go with them. From canopies to keep off the rain to storage for crutches or carry baskets for groceries you have many options to consider.

  • 3 or 4 wheel?

A three wheel scooter may be better suited to taller users or those with knee problems and can often be more manoeuvrable and suitable for indoor use. However, 3-wheeler scooters are often considered more 'unstable' compared to their four wheel counterparts. If you are intending to travel outdoors, a 4-wheel scooter will provide a sturdier and stable feel, especially when using the scooter over rough or uneven surfaces.

  • Public transport considerations?

Many forms of public transportation, such as buses, trains, and subways, will also accommodate electric scooters. You should check with your local authorities for information about any size restrictions when traveling with your scooter.

  • Practical considerations?

Home - you may have a narrow gate or steep stairs that may hinder the use of your scooter, or perhaps the facility in which you live has certain policies regarding the use of them, particularly their use indoors. You will want to take these factors into consideration when buying an electric scooter.
