About Us

Coburg Family Medical Centre is open until 9 p.m - 363 days per year.

Our aim is to make it easy for you to access medical care whenever you need to.

You can see a doctor or nurse at our clinic with or without an appointment, & we bulk bill all Medicare card holders.

We also direct bill overseas student insurance companies including AHM, Worldcare, Medibank & HBA.

Question 1: What are your opening hours?

Good news, we're open from 8.30am to 9pm on weekdays, and 9am to 9pm on weekends. Dorevitch Pathology is also open in room 11 from 8.30am to 8pm weekdays, and 9am to 2pm on weekends. Public Holidays: Easter Sunday: CLOSED Christmas Day: CLOSED New Years Eve: Clinic 9am to 7pm / Dorevitch 9am to 2pm All other public holidays: Clinic 9am to 9pm - Dorevitch 9am to 2pm.

Question 2: When is my doctor working next?

A list of our doctors' regular hours is available on our practice information leaflet, which you can access via the products and services tab on the left. To book an appointment, call our friendly reception staff on 9354 4042.

Question 3: Can I get my results over the phone?

It is the policy of our practice not to give results out to patients over the phone. Our reception staff are not medically trained, and are therefore unable to interpret or convey results to patients. This policy also protects our nurses from acting outside their scope of practice. Under rare circumstances a doctor may instruct a staff member to deliver a specific message to patient regarding their results, however this is done at the discretion of the doctor, and is not standard procedure.
