  • Are appointments required? How do I make an appointment? Do you cater for emergencies or patients who speak languages other than English?

    Priority is given to patients with appointments. Please telephone the clinic to make appointments, which are booked every 15 minutes. If you need more time with your doctor, please assist us by informing the receptionist when you make your appointment. Emergency slots are allocated to enable patients with urgent problems. Walk-in patients are welcome. If the doctor is delayed, we will endeavour to keep waiting time to a minimum.Please notify us if you require a translator.

  • Do you bulk bill?

    Bulk billing is provided for all valid Medicare cardholders, pensioners, Health Care Card and Veterans' Affairs cardholders.There is no surcharge on weekends.Payments for all other patients without Medicare Cards are expected at the time of consultation in cash.

  • Can I contact the Doctor by telephone or email?

    Please leave a message for Dr Anthony Lo during clinic hours to ensure he is able to return your call. Please advise the receptionist if the matter is urgent so that your call may be dealt with promptly. Medical matters are not dealt with by email.

  • I am sick but the clinic is closed. How do I contact a Doctor after hours?

    If you need medical attention after business hours, please contact our Locum Doctor Service on Telephone: 132 660 (24 hours). If more urgent attention is required please attend the Emergency Department of the nearest public hospital.

  • I am unwell but unable to leave home to see the Doctor. Do you do home visits?

    Home visits are available for regular patients whose condition prevents them from attending the Clinic. Visits can also be arranged for patients in nursing homes, respite or community residential units, hospital or institutions. Urgent home visits without a consultation must be arranged by telephoning your doctor directly. Please feel free to discuss your situation with your doctor.

  • I have done some blood tests and only want the results. Can I get them over the phone?

    The doctor will inform you when to return to discuss the results of your tests so that any questions can be answered satisfactorily and any follow up treatment can be arranged. Results will not be given out via the telephone unless previously arranged by the doctor.

  • I can't remember when my vaccinations or regular check ups are due. Can you help me?

    With your consent we provide telephone calls, SMS or letters to remind patients of important dates regarding their health. There may be national or state reminder registers that may send you letters from time to time. Please speak to your doctor if you wish not to access this service.

  • I heard you do acupuncture and minor surgery. How do you serilise your instruments?

    All needles and surgical instruments used in this practice are disposable or sterilised by autoclaving for each and every patient.

  • How can I provide feedback about your service?

    We welcome any feedback and/or complaints from you. Please speak to your doctor so that they may be addressed quickly.Assistance with unresolved matters is available through the Health Services Commissioner on 8601 5200.

  • How can I be sure my details are kept confidential?

    It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of your personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised staff, in accordance with the Victorian Health Records Act 2001. All data is used strictly as per our privacy policy, which is available to the public by request. Please ask your doctor for further information.
