How can I afford legal fees?

Depending on your circumstances you may be entitled to apply for legal aid through the Legal Services Commission. If you do not meet the criteria for legal aid, you may be able to negotiate a payment plan or payment of fees at settlement of your matter.


What if my partner and I have reached our own agreement on property and children issues?

Even if an agreement is reached both parties must seek legal advice and the agreement must be documented by a way of either Consent Order or Financial Agreement to be binding. If an agreement is not documented in this was a claim for property settlement could be made against either party at any time in the future.


What are your charges?

Our solicitors charge on an hourly scale, details of the rates can be provided when you make arrange an appointment.


When can I apply for divorce?

You can apply for a divorce after you have been separated for 12 months. It is also possible to apply for a divorce even if you have been living separately under the one roof.
