Brett & Watson Pty Ltd was founded in Adelaide in 1993 by its two principals, Laurie Brett and Bruce Watson. Geoff Keen, after 13 years' service, joined Bruce as a co-director in 2018 following Laurie’s retirement. Since the inception of the company, We've attracted and retained a substantial client base, providing actuarial services to many clients in various jurisdictions around Australia.
Our company is independent of investment managers, insurance brokers and other providers. We provide actuarial services to a broad range of clients including, but not limited to, self-insurers of workers compensation and government and private sector organisations that manage insurance portfolios in the medical malpractice, mortgage, professional indemnity, public liability and property insurance classes. We provide Appointed Actuary services to Friendly Societies and actuarial advice in respect of long service leave liability valuation and funding.
