Streetlink Youth Health Service

If you are aged 10 to 25, we can help with your health and medical needs. We are here to support you and your family with health support and counselling about alcohol and other drugs.

Our service is free, confidential and safe. We are an inclusive, respectful service for young people from diverse family and culture backgrounds, sexualities, and gender identities. You can visit Streetlink for help with a range of medical needs including:general health checks sexual health screening, treatment and advice contraception (including emergency) immunisations mental health support pregnancy support. We can also support you if your alcohol or drug use, or that of another person, is negatively affecting you. We offer assessment, counselling and support in the metropolitan area, as well as a Clean Needle Program and Police Drug Diversion Initiative. We have a mental health clinician who can provide psychological therapy if you have an alcohol or other drug concern and also experience problems with your mental health. This is available in the northern and southern suburbs, and the city. Streetlink offers group work and activities to help you develop skills and confidence, and connect you to the wider community. These can focus on alcohol or drug use, living skills, health and wellbeing, parenting or creative and artistic groups. Streetlink also has a number of visiting services including:Clean Needle Program (CNP) peer educators (Mondays and Fridays) food from OZ Harvest (Wednesdays)
