Diesel Gas Townsville

Absoloutly horrendous treatment by Steve who runs Diesel Gas Townsville. We were quoted 770 for the certification of the gas tank, unfortunatly he is the only person in townsville able to certify gas so we were forced to go with him. We were happy with everything he said. If we fixed up the bash plate for the gas tank he would MAKE SURE it says at 770. We fixed it and returned it to him. Not once did he mention a price increase from the original quote. We went to pick up and pay today and he has told us its over 1000 now and that we just had to deal with it. Very unhappy with the service. He should have called to adjust the cost and it is clear that since he has the monopoly on this market he feels he can just do what he wants. The actual job was done fine. The tank looks good however him taking us for a ride has left a very sour taste in our mouth. If you ever get a quote from this man in the future please GET IT IN WRITING and always expect him to 'have found more work' and not tell you. Not a happy camper.
