How long will it take for me to recover?

Every person and their presenting condition is different and therefore there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach. Your physiotherapist or remedial massage therapist will discuss your treatment plan at the time of your appointment based on your individual needs. As, a general rule, most people require 3-12 weeks to make a good recovery in the long term.


I have a workplace injury or car accident, how can I access treatment with you?

If you are seeking physiotherapy treatment through a work injury (RTWSA) or motor vehicle accident (CTP) claim, you will need a referral from your treating doctor and have an approved compensation claim. If in doubt, please call our clinic on (08) 8123 8252.


What should I bring to my appointment?

It is best to wear loose comfortable clothing which allows easy access to the areas of your body that requires assessment and treatment. If you have had X-rays, scans or medical reports, please bring them along so that the treating physiotherapist can review them. This information can assist the physiotherapist determine the best management plan.


Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist?

No, you do not need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist if you are attending as a private paying client. A doctor's referral is only required if your injury is in relation to one of the following Work injury (RTWSA), Motor vehicle accident (CTP), Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA), Medicare Care Plan (EPC) / GP chronic condition management plan (GPCCMP).


Do you treat NDIS funded patients?

Physio Physique can provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment to any participant who is self-managed, or plan managed. If in doubt, please contact our clinic on (08) 8123 8252.


Do you accept private health insurance?

Yes, Physio Physique has available the latest HICAPS Trinity Terminal and accepts 100% of Australia's Private Health Insurers. To claim your health insurance rebate, you will need to bring your physical or digital health insurance card. If you forget to bring your health insurance card, do not worry. You can pay the full-service fee and then claim your rebate back directly from your insurer.

You will also receive targeted hands-on therapy designed to help you settle the pain fast and promote healing. The physio will explain what steps are needed to make a good recovery.
