Guide to removal of spills and stains: The first thing to remember is to clean up a spill immediately. Treated carpet will be easier to clean than untreated carpet because the spill or stain will be confined and will not spread out.
Our carpet cleaning technician, John Peacock, has completed the following specialized carpet, upholstery and restoration courses: Australian Carpet Cleaning Institute, Melbourne College of Textiles, The Host School, Whiteley Industries Teflon Applicator Training.
Steam cleaning: Each individual carpet is given a careful inspection and assessment. Stains are pre-treated and then high pressure hot water is injected into the carpet and extracted again by powerful suction, recovering the water and soiling and disposing of it through our recovery tank.

Who cleans my carpet?
A skilled, highly trained technician using proven techniques and the most effective treatments with technologically advanced, powerful truck mounted Prochem Performer 405 with Nissan 1200 cc engine.
Do I need power?
Better results are available with power as it allows us to use our hospital grade vacuum cleaner and mechanical agitation to separate soils from the pile in the carpet.
How often should my carpet be cleaned?
Manufacturers recommend singles/couples have their carpet cleaned every eighteen months, whereas a family, every twelve months. Commercial premises should be cleaned every twelve months as a minimum, or as otherwise directed by occupational health and safety requirements.
Do I have to provide hot water?
No, our Prochem Performer heats its own hot water.
Is it wet when finished?
No. Grampians Carpet Cleaning's powerful equipment re-captures most of the moisture that goes into the carpet. It is usually touch dry when finished.
How much does it cost?

How long does it take to dry?
Usually around half a day, but each carpet is different. Synthetic carpets take approximately 2 - 4 hours. Wool carpets take approximately 4 -6 hours to feel dry on the surface. Factors affecting drying include the air temperature and humidity on the day and the ventilation. Fans can be provided for speed drying where necessary.
Do you come to my area?

Can I walk on it straight away?
Yes, if your shoes are clean and you are not tracking in new dirt, it can be walked on straight away.
Is it value for money?
Your carpet fibres are deep cleaned from top to bottom allowing for longer intervals between cleans, thereby providing value for money.
