      Ashfield RSL Club offers several social inter-clubs for your entertainment.

      In 1918 some of the local men returning from World War I banded together and began holding meetings in a building situated on the open-air skating rink in Liverpool Road, Ashfield, where the Ashfield public school now stands. As the members attending these meetings grew, it was necessary to find larger accommodation.

      Poor and embarrassing

      Last weekend an older couple walked in and were asked by the Security Guard for their vaccine passports. The male showed it via his QR code. The lady (partner) had a document. The Security Guard would not accept it even though they explained to him the document which contained the passport is allowed. He would not have a bar of it. The couple left in disgust. My wife and I left in disgust. I hope this was not something the Club has mandated.

      Fantastic day out with the family. We went to the restaurant for mums birthday 75th birthday, all 13of us and had a great time. Will definitely be going again. Very helpful and friendly staff. Bill at the lucky restaurant was so pleasant and the atmosphere was relaxed. Kid friendly as we had a toddler that wouldn't stop running around. Excellent day everyone enjoyed it. Prices are excellent. I can't say enough about the rsl. First time there and definitely not the last. We'll done to everybody at Ashfield rsl for making sure everyone enjoys themselves. Thank you. See you on Melbourne cup.
