      Rebecca Stocker began her conveyancing career in 1999 as a Conveyancing Secretary and graduated from Conveyancing Law and Practice at Macquarie University in 2005. Over her career, she has worked in various conveyancing roles before establishing Stocker Conveyancing in 2012.

      Rebecca Stocker, our Licensee and the cornerstone of Stocker Conveyancing, is a Licensed Conveyancer, a proud member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancing (AIC), a Certified Practicing Conveyancer (CPC), and a recognised Certified PEXA Member by PEXA, indicating her proficiency in the latest electronic settlement systems. She also fulfils her civic duties as a Justice of the Peace. Launching her career in conveyancing back in 1999 as a Conveyancing Secretary, Rebecca has amassed over two decades of experience in this industry.

      Conveyancing is the Transfer of legal ownership or an interest in land.


      Why do I need a conveyancer before my property goes on the market?

      For residential property, you must have a Contract for Sale available to each purchaser, containing all required vendor disclosure documentation before your property is offered for sale. We are experts in Contract preparation and will ensure that your Contract complies with all of the relevant legislation.


      Do I need a solicitor/lawyer if I am buying a house?

      No. There is no need to engage a solicitor to act on your behalf for a property purchase or sale. Conveyancers are specialists in the law of conveyancing, and this is the only area of law that we practice in.
