      A local icon since the mid-1800s. Current owners fully renovated the pub in 2013, now home to three dining spaces, bistro, bar, beer garden along with a TAB & sports bar. Serving mouth-watering pub classics — including Ballarat’s best Bangers & Mash from local butcher John Harbour. Cold beer, great wine, and a welcoming space for every occasion. Our beer garden features a retractable roof & heating, making it perfect for your next function, year-round.

      Finish your drink as fast as you can then make a mad dash for the door to get to the front of the line for cabs, ignoring all the signs from that cute guy / girl across the bar?

      Take your time finishing your drink, deciding exactly how you are going to make your move on the previously-mentioned guy / girl, before security ask you politely to make your way to the door (our security are good like that). By then you realise all the cabs are gone and it’s going to be a long walk / wait in that famous sideways Ballarat rain. And to make matters worse, the souva shop is closed.
