Balwyn Denture Clinic was established by dental prosthetist, Andrew Lack in 1993. At Balwyn Denture Clinic we offer expert service for the construction of, Acrylic partial dentures, Metal framed partial dentures, Mouthguards. Andrew was born and raised just up the road from Balwyn in Doncaster. In 1978 he commenced his apprenticeship to become a dental technician in Canterbury.
After completing his apprenticeship, Andrew worked mainly for dentists in their private in house laboratories. This exposed him to not only the laboratory side of dental prosthetics, but also to the chairside part where the technician can see the end product in the mouth. In 1988 Andrew upgraded his qualifications to become a Dental Prosthetist at the Royal Dental Hospital. Andrew regularly attends lectures as part of his continuing education process.

If I see you, who will actually make my denture?
Everything is done by me on the premises.
Should I leave them out at night?
Ideally, yes. It gives the mouth a rest from the dentures. But, if you want to leave them in that is OK too. We understand that not all people wish to sleep without their dentures in.
How do I clean my dentures?
The best way is to brush them with a soft brush and hand soap. Toothpaste is too abrasive for dentures.
