      We are a leader in the 4WD and recreational aftermarket industry by the provision of high quality products and services.

      Out Of Town 4WD P/L was created in 1977 by the current owner, Fred Black, who recognised a market for his skills in designing and manufacturing products for 4WD travellers. It began in a domestic back yard in Wangi, NSW. The business grew, and soon added other services such as 4WD vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs, and reselling of quality 4WD accessories.

      Mechanical servicing - Out Of Town 4WD P/L mechanical workshop is staffed with licensed, specialist 4WD mechanics, and equipped to carry out all types of repairs and maintenance on 4WD vehicles. With four hoists and numerous working bays the workshop is always a hive of activity.

      OOT4WD operates from its own premises in Barnsley, near Newcastle, NSW. A 1,200 square metre factory and almost 1,500 square metre showroom / mechanical workshop / storage complex are situated on a site of around 15,000 square metres. There is plenty of current manufacturing and fit out capacity, and ample room for expansion.
