Jigg Ag Contracting is a family owned and operated farming business established in 2008 and has become a leading agricultural contracting company based in Queensland, focusing on hay and straw baling. With 30 years experience in the agricultural industry, we specialise in high density Square Baling and travel all across Qld & NSW.

Jigg Ag Contracting is an "owner operated" family business which means we operate, transport and maintain our own machinery. We take great pride in our machinery and its maintenance, with regular servicing and a high understanding of how our machines operate, means when we come to your job, our equipment is in great condition ready to handle your hay and straw needs. As an owner operated family business you know you're in good hands. Over the past 17 years, we’ve grown into one of Southern Queensland’s leading agricultural contracting companies, with a strong reputation built on reliability, quality, and a high expertise for farming. At Jigg Ag we are born and bred farmers, with more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the agricultural industry, we specialise in high-density square baling of hay and straw. We operate a high density 8 string Krone Bigpack 1290 HDP2 square baler which creates well structured heavy bales that are great to transport and contain more product within the bale than a 6 string does. Attached is a Gazeeka system that monitors hay moisture which marks any high moisture spikes within the bale with paint. A great safety monitoring feature to make sure hay bales that may contain spikes of high moisture content are easily seen and separated from the hay stack. We pull our baler with a state of the art Fendt 939 tractor which pulls our baler effortlessly. We are based in southern Queensland and perform hay and straw services predominantly during spring and summer. During autumn and winter we travel to Central West Queensland providing our hay services. We transport all our own machinery to all jobs with our truck and drop deck widener which makes it quite efficient to get to your farm. Whether its Oaten Hay, Wheat Hay, Rhodes Grass, Lucerne, Mitchell Grass, wheat straw, the list goes on...We'll bale it. Our knowledge on crops is extensive and with over 30 years of living and breathing farming, we know what's needed to bale your crop to its best potential.
