How long does galvanizing take?
10 days.
Why are quotes from some shops cheaper than others?
It often depends on the quality of the steel used in the job. We prefer to use Australian steel, which is manufactured to Australian Standards.
Can I get goods hot dip galvanized?
Yes. If galvanizing is required, cheaper steel cannot be used successfully as the galvanizing will not "take" in some sections or will appear dull. Australian steels generally have low silicone levels. The surface finish of galvanized steel reflects both the chemical composition and surface texture of the steel used. Australian steel will produce a galvanized finish that is brighter and more aesthetically pleasing.
Can you supply beams for housing?
Yes. We can supply and install your steel beams

Yes. We can supply and install these if you like

I live in Batemans Bay. Do you travel that far?
Sapphire Welding has done many jobs from Ulladulla to Mallacoota & west to Bombala. We have also fabricated stair stringers to go to Perth.
Do you subcontract to large companies?
We have worked with Edwards, Project Coordination, Zauner, Rankins and JOSS on school BER projects, hospitals, halls, factory extensions, shop renovations.
