      Can I Book an appointment online?

      Existing patients of Norwest General Practice can book online via our website www.norwestgp.com.au. Please ensure you read the guidelines provided before making a booking.


      How can I get my previous medical history to my new doctor?

      If you would like to have your medical records transferred to us from another medical centre please ask the receptionist and this will be organised for you. Please be aware that most medical centres charge a small fee to transfer medical records to cover the cost of printing and postage.


      Do I need to make an appointment to see a doctor?

      We offer appointments in order to reduce the waiting times for our patients. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and doctor, however this may not always be possible.Patients can also be seen without an appointment as a walk-in; however priority will be given to those patients with appointments.       Do I need to see the doctor to get a medical certificate?

      Yes- An appointment is required in order for your GP/doctor to issue a medical certificate for medical conditions requiring time off work. Medical certificates cannot be backdated.


      Do you have pathology onsite?

      Yes- Healthscope pathology is onsite at Norwest general Practice. Their opening hours are Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm Sat: 9-12 pm. NO appointment is needed to have a general blood test, however some specialised test will require a booking. Please give Healthscope a call on 0458 493 943 for more information about their services.
