Ashman & Campbell Denture Clinic is a local business with more than 90 years experience in denture construction. We supply Full Dentures , both Acrylic and Cast Metal Partial Dentures, Fast Denture Repairs and Relines. We also make Custom Sports Mouth Guards for all sports.

Our services are claimable through your Private Health Insurance Funds. We service private patients, Veterans’ Affairs, Victorian Denture Scheme Vouchers and New South Wales Health Denture Vouchers. We strive to provide personalised services throughout Central Victoria with satellite practices in Echuca, St Arnaud and Bendigo where we are based.
Dentures are designed to last between 5 and 7 years, but as with most things, how long they last depends on how well they are cared for. As with natural teeth, dentures should be maintained and regularly checked by our denture clinic to ensure they are fitting correctly. When dentures are first inserted they fit the gums snugly, but as you get older your gums will shrink/recede resulting in the fit of the denture being compromised. As a result, food may get under the denture(s) and they may start to break regularly. The everyday use of your denture means the teeth themselves will wear down over time.
Proper oral hygiene is just as critical for artificial teeth as it is for natural teeth to reduce the build up of plaque or tarter and to prevent bad breath. Whenever possible remove your denture/s after each meal to brush and remove any residual food. You should always rinse your mouth thoroughly with clean water with your dentures removed. Regular (once a week) soaking is recommended in Caldent Denture Cleaner. Use a soft bristle denture brush and mild non abrasive cleaner in the morning and at night to reduce staining and help prevent tartar and plaque build up on your denture.
