Berrima Boarding Kennels & Cattery has been privately owned and operated since 1985, offering trusted, high-quality care for both dogs and cats in the Southern Highlands. With over 50 years of combined experience, all staff are dedicated to the health, comfort, and wellbeing of every animal in our care. We also maintain strong relationships with local veterinarians to ensure the highest standard of care when required. Our kennel facilities are designed for comfort, security, and reduced stress. We operate two separate kennel complexes to appropriately house dogs of different sizes—one for smaller breeds and one for larger breeds. Each run is spacious, hygienic, and designed to provide a calm, comfortable environment throughout the animals stay. We ask that you bring bedding for your pet from home, so they have something familiar with them that smells like home, and we are happy to put coats on during the colder months. Our cattery offers large, spacious walk-in enclosures, giving cats ample space to move, rest, and feel secure, while looking out onto the garden. A key feature of our facility is our purpose-built heated hydrotherapy pool—the only one of its kind in the Southern Highlands. Operating at 27–30°C, it is available to both boarding and non-boarding dogs and provides significant benefits for rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, weight management, mobility support, and general fitness. Our services are not just available to locals, many travel from Sydney, Canberra and the Illawarra, so that their pets can enjoy the fresh country air and spacious exercise areas we offer.
