Berry Smash Repairs

What a bunch of crooks!!



we had one of our vehicles being repaired by Berry Smash Repair for a few weeks (Dodge Ram), as we were hit by a kangaroo.



After the incident we decided during the repairs we should have a bull bar installed to help protect ourselves from kangaroos the guys from Berry Smash repairs said whilst they are making the repairs to the ram they will organise to have it delivered to Nowra 4wd and outdoor products to have the bull bar and some other components fitted.



During this time we had no contact with the guys from Berry Smash Repairs, we know these things take time.



when I arrived to retrieve something from the car I noticed water marks on the side of the ute, wet muddy carpet, and seats. It looked like it was submerged in flood water!!



i asked the guy at Berry Smash Repair what happened to my car and he replied it was in flood water the workshop had flooded with water over the weekend, i was going to move your car the day before but i didn't get around to it.



he then offered to shampoo the carpets!!!



FYI: Anyone that has their car with these guys please be aware they are UNINSURED.



I have had to contact my insurance to have the vehicle assessed and would you believe it they took one look at it and deemed it an immediate write-off.



what I'm so annoyed about is that Berry Smash Repairs had every opportunity to call me and let me know the car had been flooded, but no instead they decide to try and conceal/hide the situation and then booked a tow truck to have it delivered to Nowra 4wd to have the bull bar and other attachments fitted to the vehicle. Nowra 4wd are going to also be stuffed around by these clowns because no one has communicated to them the car was FLOODED... they have installed additions to a car that is written off, who should be covering their costs?? berry smash repairs?



if the clowns at Berry Smash Repair had done the right thing by the customer and called them to let them know the car was half under water this entire situation could have been avoided.



hopefully, my experience will help others with their decisions to have repairs made to their cars with berry smash repairs. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CLOWNS!!
