How long will my carpet take to dry?

What is the difference between Steam Cleaning (hot water extraction) and Dry Cleaning (bonnet)?

Hot water extraction or steam cleaning works by injecting hot cleaning solution into the carpet fibres and then extracting the same. Used in conjunction with pre-conditioning, this method allows us reach the roots of the carpet, and suspend the dirt and soil from the fibres, making them easier to remove. The heat also allows oils and grease to be to be loosened in a similar manner.

What is the best way to maintain the carpet or upholstery after has been cleaned?

Regular vacuuming is recommended at least once a week; a greater frequency is required for heavy traffic areas. A foot mat should be placed at every entry point onto carpeted areas. Our technicians will assist you on the best placement points and vacuuming techniques at no extra cost.

Can I walk on the carpet as soon as it has been cleaned?

Yes! We do, however, recommend that you allow a reasonable amount of time before putting it back into full use, as this will limit the amount of dirt that may stick to the small amounts of residual moisture in the carpet. On request we can provide you with shoe/feet covers to minimise this risk.
