How much will the job cost?
It is impossible to give one universal answer and giving prices without first discussing the job variables could result in trust issues between us and the customer. In saying that, we always give the customer an upfront price for the job before starting the work, so you aren’t left in the dark about what you’ll be paying.
Do you charge a call out fee?
Nope! Here at Jetset Electrical we do not charge a call out fee, rather we trust that our electricians will provide unbeatable customer service from the moment they’re knocking on the door. We believe that this is what really gets our customers coming back continuously.
Do I have to go ahead with the job?
Not at all. We will always respect your decision to decline a job with us. We also appreciate any feedback you might have in regards to our service. This information is what helps us improve for the next time.
Can you send someone experienced?
The majority of the plumbing team at Jetset Plumbing have had a minimum of six years' experience in the field. They have an extensive knowledge base and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Does it cost more if you need to pick up materials?
The price given at the start of the job will remain the same even if our plumbers need to pick up materials. That is the advantage of a flat job rate. If you were being charged an hourly rate, then the plumber needing to pick up materials would affect the overall cost as it takes extra time.
Do you submit forms to the council?
Yes. We submit all of the relevant form and paperwork required for each and every job. So, there is no need to worry as it has already been done.
How much will the job cost?
This is a difficult question to give one universal answer to as there are so many variables. Giving a price before seeing the extent of the job can lead to trust issues between us and the customer. However, we do give the exact cost of any job before we start the work so you can feel comfortable in knowing what you will be paying once the work is done.
Can you come out today?
Usually if you contact us before 12pm we can organise a plumber to get to you that same day. If you contact us after 12pm there is still the possibility of a plumber getting to you on the same day, however sometimes our plumbers can get caught up on a job for longer than anticipated. In saying this, we will always do our best to get a plumber out to you as soon as possible.
Will the electrician ring on the way?
Usually if you’ve been scheduled for the first job of the day you won’t receive a call beforehand as the electrician is guaranteed to show up right on time. If your job is scheduled any later in the day, you will receive a call from your electrician 30-minutes before they arrive.
Do we supply materials as well?
We can absolutely chase up any necessary materials for you. Jetset Electrical has a fantastic relationship with a number of reputable suppliers. So, if we do need to source any materials for the job we are more than happy to do so.
What are our payment options?
We offer a wide range of payment options that cover the most common payment methods. We accept cash, card, cheque, and payment plans such as zip pay or buy now pay later. We try to cater towards our customers and have found that these options usually suit most people.

Do you work weekends?
We operate from Monday to Sunday, with plumbers rostered on both Saturdays and Sundays. We find this works best for a lot of our customers who work on weekdays. No matter whether it's a weekday or a weekend, if there is work that needs to be done, we will be there.
Do you offer warranty for your work?
Yes! At Jetset Electrical we offer 100% warranty on all of our workmanship and any faulty materials we might use. We are also happy to organise a 100% refund if by any chance you are unhappy with the work or wish to cancel the job.
Do you do camera inspections for pipes?
Yes, we can do camera inspections for sewer & storm water pipes. We have drain cameras and monitors in most of the Jetset Plumbing vans, which we can use to report on the condition of the drainage line or find any damages that need fixing. If required, we are also able to put these findings on a USB for you. Camera inspections are recommended prior to purchasing a new property to determine any drain damage.
Do we do gas fitting?
Yes, we do. We are fully licensed to carry out gas work at your property. Our plumbers have to successfully complete extensive training before we send them to your home or office. So, whether it's a gas hot water heater, gas stove, or a gas room heater, our licensed gas fitters can take care of it.
Do we carry stock on board our trucks?
Generally, yes. The Jetset vans carry the stock for the majority of our electrical jobs. However, there are some unique circumstances where the part that is required might not be in the truck. Though 99% of the time, we are able to quickly source any missing materials from nearby suppliers.
What equipment do we use for leak detection?
For concealed, outdoor leaks we use Sewerin acoustic water leak devices. With these devices, a system of one hand receivers, microphones and test rods work to send shockwaves to a headset. These shockwaves allow our plumbers to pinpoint the leak. We also use thermal imaging, which we find is especially helpful in shower areas.
Do you warrant your work?
Absolutely! We offer 100% warranty on all of our workmanship. Should any of the materials we use on a job turn out to be faulty, we will also warrant them. We are also happy to organise a 100% return on your funds if you are unhappy with the work or wish to cancel the job.
Do our electricians come in uniform?
They absolutely do! The Jetset uniform has been designed to stand out and be easily identifiable, so that you can feel comfortable in knowing who you are opening the door to.

There are so many reasons why Jetset is my only go to for both electrical and plumbing. Reliability and excellent communication are just some. Incredible service! Tom explained everything so well and I didn’t feel at all pressured to do anything else. Went above and beyond what was expected and even cleaned up after himself and left the house in excellent condition after he was done. Can’t recommend highly enough. Will definitely be using his services again in the near future!

No call out fees! Open 7 days.
WATCH OUT. This is not accurate.
We recently wanted a QUOTE for a replacement for 2 split air condition units. JESTSET Website advertises No Call Out Fee. No mention during 3 phone calls with their staff did anyone mention anything about a $200 charge for coming out. Only 30-mins before visit were we informed it was over $200 for a 20-minute visit to issue a quote.
If this is the way they do business, fine. Just be aware that NO CALL out fee is innaccurate.
