Nano-Fractional Radio Frequency (Venus Viva) Venus Viva is a radio frequency nano-fractional device designed to resurface the skin.

Laser tattoo removal produces pulses of light energy. Each pulse of energy penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the tattoo ink. Cryolipolysis (Fat Freezing) Treatment areas include:Abdomen Hips Lower back Upper back Buttock Thighs Upper arms LED Light Treatments LED light therapy is a highly effective way to achieve total facial rejuvenation. Unlike intense pulsed light (IPL) and lasers that rely on thermal injury, LED light delivers light emitting diodes, which do not produce any heat. The device delivers this light in precise wavelengths over the skin to regenerate, repair and heal.

What is the recommended Radio Frequency treatment protocol?

Clients get a great outcome in skin complexion and texture after one treatment, this will continue to improve over the following month. For scars and skin tightening best results are with a set of three treatments 4 - 8 weeks apart, this will continue to stimulate collagen and elastin for skin remodelling.

What happens during a tattoo removal treatment?

During your consultation, Sharon will discuss that your tattoo removal is a process, it takes time to remove the tattoo. It will take typically more than 6 treatments for removal. The laser technician (Sharon) will apply numbing cream if you like, however certain areas are comfortable with cooling air. The tattoo removal itself is relatively fast, it can take up to 15 minutes depending on size and location

How do LED facial treatments work?

LED face treatments are a scientifically backed light therapy treatment that utilises thousands of coloured LED lights at cell-specific wavelengths to activate age-defying collagen and elastin production in your skin as well as stimulate cell turnover to restore skin to its optimal health. LED devices commonly utilise Blue, Red, Green and Yellow wavelengths of LED light. Depending on your skin concern, a different coloured light will be used during treatment.

How does Cryolipolysis (fat freezing) work?

The Cryolipolysis treatment reduces unwanted subcutaneous fat in specific areas of the body using chilling technology. An adjustable vacuum applicator is used to selectively chill the fatty tissue thereby causing fat cells apoptosis (die). The body will then absorb the fat, mainly through the lymphatic system and expel the waste product. It can take up to 6 to 12 weeks before you can see the results, due to the body absorbing the dead fat cells.

What are the benefits of having Anti-Wrinkle Treatments?

The benefits of anti-wrinkle treatment vary between client for several reasons including age, gender and facial structure. Both men and women get great outcomes, with reduction in lines and wrinkles. Overall, all people at any age (over 18) can benefit from anti-wrinkle treatment. Some patients start in their twenties with the thought of preventing lines and wrinkles before they start to appear, and this works well for them. As they grow older the skin will have very few lines and wrinkles.

How painful is radio frequency skin treatment?

With the application of prescription grade numbing cream, the Radio frequency skin treatment is comfortable. You may feel slight discomfort, like an elastic band being flicked, but that is rare and is generally when the numbing cream has not numbed the spot.

What colour tattoos are the hardest to remove?

Yes, colours play a big factor in the removal of tattoos, the easiest tattoos to remove are the dark grey to black fades. At Newcastle Cosmetic Doctor we have 4 different laser hand pieces for laser tattoo removal, that are specific to what colour you would like to remove. This is because the different tattoo colours sit in different depths of the skin.
