      What happens during the first consultation?

      During your initial appointment, your counsellor aims to gain a solid understanding of your situation and your concerns. We’ll ask you a broad range of questions to find out what you are struggling with, as well as areas of your life where things may be going well. Your answers will help the counsellor to gain a better understanding of your situation and perspective, and the best way to help you.


      How long do I need to commit for counselling sessions?

      We tailor plans and sessions based on your situation. We will talk with you to best tailor an equitable solution that will not only get you the results you are looking for, but also provide you with the tools to use for a lifetime.


      Do you offer online counselling sessions?

      Yes we do offer online counselling session and face to face session as well.


      Is counselling confidential?

      Yes, counselling sessions are confidential. RCA respects the privacy of clients and the confidentiality of client information. Your information is held securely and confidentially within RCA.


      How do live video sessions work?

      You can also have a video session with your counsellor where you see each other and talk with each other in a virtual face-to-face setting (similar to Skype). To talk with your counsellor via video, you will need to schedule a time with your counsellor and log in to your counselling room at that time. Your counsellor will then prompt you to start the video session. After you confirm, you will immediately begin video chatting with your counsellor.
