FAQschevron down

Can you help me choose the right shower screen?

Absolutely. Our knowledgeable team will guide you in selecting a style that suits your space, taste, and budget.

What colour splashback do you do and what types of glass are available?

Any Dulux paint colour. There are two options of glass to use depending on the colour you choose. Clear float glass has iron in the glass and therefore has a “greeny tinge” to it or Low Iron glass which is a clear glass with no iron in it. For example, if you paint white on clear glass, it will appear as a greeny white colour. If you paint white on a Low Iron glass, it will appear as white. Depending on the colour you choose will determine which glass you would need to use.

What is the difference between laminate and toughened safety glass. Are they a stock item?

Both are an A grade safety glass. Laminate glass is a stock item and can be cut and processed usually on same day. Toughened glass has to be cut to size and then made into toughened glass and cannot be altered once it is processed. You would have to allow 5 working days for this. Laminate glass is generally used in sliding door replacements and shopfront windows where they need a fast turnaround.
