How much does landscaping cost for my new home?
Every project we complete differs greatly. Obviously the more inclusions you need (like driveway, pool or fencing) the more the external project will cost. Block size and access can affect your quote heavily. If you've built your new home on a sloping block there is usually quite a lot to spend on excavation and retaining walls before beautifying the outside of your house. Until we see the site or some plans it's difficult to estimate whether your project would be nearer $30k or $200k
Do I need a design drawn up before starting the landscape?
Having a master plan to work to is highly recommended for you to visualise the quoted works before commencement of any external project. This is also so any small adjustments can be made on paper before any shovel touches the ground. We offer designs drawn up and plan costs to be subsidised by the overall project cost. When is the right time to engage a Landscape Professional during my new home build?
It's never too early to start discussing the budget you may need to put aside for landscaping. After your block has been chosen and house plans have been approved by council, we'll have a fair idea of what needs to happen externally.
