What is the wait time to get an appointment?
All category 1 patients (where early intervention is required) will be seen by the doctor on a priority basis. The wait may involve up to 3 weeks where immediate attention may not be necessary. In other categories, the wait may be up to 1-2 months.
What services do you provide for women?

I deliver babies at Mater Private Hospital in Hyde Park. I operate at Mater Hyde Park, Mackay Base Hospital, Townsville Hospital and Cairns Private Hospital.

No, many conditions can be treated using conservative methods. Surgical options are recommended to patient where there is proven positive outcomes in Australia.
What is my recovery time after surgery?
Usually, the discharge from the hospital ranges from 1-3 days. In some cases, it may be longer due to the nature, complexity and circumstances specific to a patient.
What is your fee structure?
We follow the fees schedule recommended by AMA. Please call the clinic to ascertain a fee for a specific procedure. We can accept most payment methods and occasionally bulk bill at the discretion of the doctor.
Do you work with others for cover?
Yes, I work with a reputed and oldest group of specialists in Townsville. I also have a team of specialists, assistants and technologists who work with me since 2006 on a regular basis.
Do you have a family?
Yes, my husband, Vijay is a mining engineer. I have two children Tejal Pillai and Harshil Pillai. Harshil is training to be a doctor.
Do you provide diagnostic services?
Yes, we perform state-of-the-art urodynamics and use a variety of diagnostic devices like ultrasound etc. at our clinic and Queensland X-ray/imaging services.
