      Do you do orthodontic treatment?

      At Camberwell Dental Group we offer Invisalign treatment which involves a series of customised clear aligners that sequentially straighten teeth. Compared to traditional braces, Invisalign is virtually invisible and removable, providing a more aesthetic treatment option. If you are interested in Invisalign, please book a consultation appointment with Dr Rochelle Lim.


      Why are dental x-rays important?

      Dental x-rays can be taken on adults and children. They allow the dental practitioner to assess your oral health by providing an image of the tooth and inside the gums. Dental x-rays assist in detecting hidden dental problems where we can provide early intervention treatment when required. Please advise your dentist if you are currently pregnant.


      Why do I need to floss?

      Flossing and interdental brushes are recommended to help remove plaque and food particles between your teeth. It helps keep your gums healthy and prevents bad breath. Our dental professionals can demonstrate the best techniques for flossing during your appointment.


      At what ages should children have their first dental check-up?

      Good oral health is crucial for your child's overall health and well-being. Regular dental visits can help prevent tooth decay, detect issues early, and encourage lifelong healthy habits. At Camberwell Dental Group we recommend that children visit the dentist for the first time by age one or within six months of the eruption of their first tooth.


      How often should I get a dental checkup?

      Our dental practitioners recommend that our patients visit their dentist at least every six months for a check-up and professional cleaning. This helps reduce the risk of developing dental problems such as tooth decay, gum disease and other oral health issues


      Where are you located?

      Our practice is conveniently located on the north side of Riversdale Road, between Burke and Trafalgar Roads, close to Camberwell Junction. We provide a number of onsite car parking spaces. Riversdale Road Tram stop is close by and we are a short walk from the Camberwell Station.


      When do I pay for my appointment?

      Payment is required on the same day as your appointment. We accept EFTPOS, Credit cards, Amex and all major health fund cards. We also offer Medicare bulk billing under CDBS (Child Dental Benefits Scheme) and accept DVA.


      Do you offer sedation for dental care?

      We understand that dental treatments can sometimes cause patients to feel anxious or nervous. At Camberwell Dental Group, we offer Sedation services to allow you a calm and comfortable experience. Please let your dentist know if you would like to discuss this.


      How do I book an appointment?

      You can book an appointment with one of our friendly dentists by calling our reception team on 03 9882 4444 or online via our website. Appointments are available Monday to Saturday. We ask that if you cannot attend your scheduled appointment, you call our reception with no less than 24 hours' notice.
