A family owned and locally operated company, Hunter Ground Search was originally established to provide aid to the community after the Newcastle earthquake in 1989. Naturally, there was a big demand for cable and pipe locating expertise. Underground utilities are the invisible and sometimes not so invisible, first casualties of earthquakes.
