      Housed in the Melbourne Building, Mama's Trattoria conjures up the feel of a traditional Italian restaurant with its variety of pasta staples and is packed out each weekend with diners enjoying a relaxing meal in the Canberra sunshine. We provide different fillings such as prosciutto, leg ham, salami, grilled chicken breast, marinated eggplant, roasted capsicum, sundried tomato and avocado.

      Alfresco tables sprawl out onto the pedestrian concourse, while inside the feel is warm and rustic, with simple wooden tables and chairs. The food is, as the name suggests, just as Mama would cook it: hearty meals that warm the belly and the soul. Our staff caters to traditional Italian cuisine in a friendly atmosphere.
