      Thermal Spray - We have been accessed and approved toISO9001:2015 by QAS International. When the equipment became commercially available in the early1980's. HST was the first to use the process in W.A (1981). Prior to the introduction of Arc Spray heavy duty components were unable to be reclaimed due to prior process coatings being of insufficient bond and inter-particle strengths. Harfords began using Electric Arc Thermal Spray. These coatings have five times greater bond strength and particle cohesion than previous processes.

      White Metal Bearings - We provide an ultrasonic bond test certificate to A.S. 2824 1985 and Verve Energy SpecTSB SP198 Level E1, L1 and a conformity of materials certificate on every repair or With an extensive knowledge of the casting of white metals, Harfords have expertly trained, experienced and competent staff who provide a white metal service to our clients. An understating of the precision machining and fit up of bearings, correct bearing shell or housing crush and how a bearing operates in service is absolutely vital to a successful job. White Metal Bearings have been repaired at Harfords for 70 years.
