Repiaring, Restumping & Reblocking If you have noticed dips in your floor in certain areas, cracks in your internal walls, doors not shutting properly and visual damages to your piers then you're in the right place. Newcastle House Levelling specialises in repairing and replacing old brick, concrete, sandstone and other old unreliable piers by replacing them with fully adjustable galvanised steel piers. After time, piers naturally sink deeper into the ground, do not turn a blind eye to this as leaving it can cause more issues.
Underpinning If your home is suffering from subsidence and sinking dramatically, you may have considered underpinning as a solution to re-level and stabilise it. When thinking about constructing or renovating buildings and structures, the foundation needs to be strong enough to hold the structure solidly. Underpinning is the process in which we drill under your existing slab down to an appropriate depth to ensure that your slab is now bearing on solid ground.
Re Levelling Relevelling your house is an absolute must before undertaking any renovations or alterations. Why? Because spending all your money on a renovation, then having to deal with the underlying foundation issues is a nightmare and can cost you a fortune. We start by accessing under your house to set up an accurate laser beam and take the heights of all of your piers. Once the heights have been ascertained we come up with a plan to correct the issue so you can continue on your renovation journey.

How Do I Know If My House Needs Re-Levelling?
If your windows are uneven and your doors don't shut properly, you most likely need to get your house relevelled. Your houses' entire integrity is reliant on your foundations and if they become unsteady or weak then you may be prone to a costly structural collapse.
How long will it take to get my quote?
Once our specialised master builder conducts his site assessment, you can expect to receive your quote within two business days. However, we do allow up to 7 days to cover us in extreme busy periods. If you have not received your quote within 7 days, please give our friendly team a call to follow up as we may have your email incorrect or it could have filtered through to your spam/junk inbox.
What sort of materials do you use?
Our stumps/piers are brick or steel depending on your personal preference. Brick or Steel piers are built to last much longer than concrete or sandstone stumps which are the most commonly found around the Newcastle area. The metal rod in concrete piers rusts over time and blows the concrete from the inside out, sandstone piers however just deteriorate into sand which is even more of a concern.
What will happen if I don't fix my sunken piers?
Technically you can renovate your home before repiering. However, it’s not recommended. Generally, foundation repair involves lifting your house upwards. This may cause a variety of issues. For example, fractures in brick exteriors, tile cracks, sheetrock cracks and damage to plumbing pipes.
I have cracks in my walls, help?
There are many reasons why structures fail causing walls to crack and move, this is why diagnosing the cause is an important step in repairing wall cracks. Depending on the problem, will decide the wall crack repair method. all our repairs are designed to keep the cost as low as possible, with minimal disruption to you.
Is there any warranty on your work?
YES! And this is why it's super important when doing any structural work on your home that you hire a professional in the field that carries the correct licenses and insurances. We offer a 7 year warranty on all our products and services. Keep in mind, piers can move, this is why having your new steel adjustable piers is an easy and affordable fix for you & our team.
