We are able to provide subsidised hearing aids (including free to client hearing aids) to eligible pensioners and veterans.
Chelsea Hearing provides a high level of personal, professional care. You will see the same audiologist for every appointment. You will not be rushed, and we always take the time to explain your results and options.
A hearing test for an adult usually takes 45 minutes to complete. Your appointment will include an explanation of your results. If your results indicate that you have a hearing loss, management options will be discussed. You are encouraged to ask any questions you may have. There is no fee for an initial hearing consultation for adults.
Hearing aids can be a great option for many people with a hearing loss. At Chelsea Hearing we fit hearing aids from all major manufacturers. We don't receive commission from hearing aids sold, so there is no pressure on you to proceed unless you are completely comfortable with your decision. Most people choose hearing aids that are very small, discrete and comfortable to wear.
Children 3 years and over can be seen at Chelsea Hearing. The test takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. During a hearing test for your child they will undertake fun activities during which they will respond to a tone. This may involve putting a peg in a board, a token in a connect-4 game or releasing a marble down a marble run. As children enjoy these activities accurate results can be obtained.
