      We offer Dance classes for both serious dancers or for those who want to participate for fitness & enjoyment

      Plie, Groove'n'Shuffle opened in 1998, and has since become one of the leading performing arts centres on the beautiful northern beaches of Sydney. PG'n'S prides itself on offering professional and caring staff, a wide variety of subjects and affordable rates. Plie has seven purpose built dance studios, including a sprung studio for cheerleading & gymnastics.

      Plie is famous for its community feeling- students and parents enjoy friendships and form a strong support network- such important elements to encourage sportsmanship amongst our dancers.

      All students perform twice annually, at our mid-year 'Concert' and our end-of-year 'Christmas Concert'. Talented students have the opportunity to be invited to join one of our prestigious stage classes who compete successfully at eisteddfods around Sydney. Our advanced students are cheerleaders for the Manly United FC.

      Students from PG'n'S have gone on to perform at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, have been accepted into NIDA & WAUPA, been awarded with Global Dance Convention scholarships for ten years consecutively.

      How do I pay my fees?

      All fees are made prior to student commencing classes.


      Can I do a trial before I enrol?

      For legal and safety reasons anyone participating in a class must be enrolled, however Plie has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If after your first lesson you are not completely delighted please call the office for a refund or to be placed in a more suitable class.


      Is Plie, Groove'n' Shuffle a talent agency?

      No Plie is not a talent agency. however our industry contacts result in many fabulous opportunities for our students throughout the year. If you are interested in hearing about these opportunities join our mailing list and become a fan on Facebook. if you are looking for a full time agent we can point you in the right direction.


      Can parents and siblings watch class?

      Parents are invited to watch the first lesson. If you have special visitors in town that would like to watch class during term please make a request via the office. Are there any performance opportunities? Performance opportunities are optional and include: Mid Year & End of year Concert Public Festivals and community events Exams Eisteddfods for Stage Class


      What if my child doesn't like a class?

      Plie offers a money back guarantee on all weekly classes within the first week. No refunds beyond the first week.


      Can my child simply watch a class?

      Students must be re-booked and pay prior to class every term. Students may watch a class but may not participate in dance until they have booked and paid and accepted terms and conditions. Watched classes must still be paid for. Do timetables stay the same for the entire tear? Timetable may be subject to change


      Are children supervised between classes?

      Yes but Plie accept no responsibility for students outside their official class time. Students must be collected promptly from studio door.


      Can I do a make up class if I am absent?

      Yes. Find a similar class on the timetable and let the office know that you will be attending. Make up classes can be taken for missed classes due to illness, travel or public holidays.
