All prefabricated timber roof trusses are designed and manufactured using the Pryda system and comply with the Australian building code. Prefabrication is low maintenance with less site time, making it an economical way to construct homes and extensions. A detailed layout for installation and computations are provided for peace of mind. The latest technology is used to design & manufacture virtually any roof shape to your specifications.
Prefabricated floor trusses are designed and manufactured with the same care & responsibility as our roof trusses and wall frames to meet your individual requirements. We also offer you the option of all timber or timber & metal construction.
Prefabricated wall frames are manufactured under factory conditions so that on-site construction time is reduced and costly delays due to wet weather are avoided. Wall frames are manufactured using the highest quality Australian hard and soft woods, including termite resistant material. Bracing requirements, lintel computations and window specifications are all taken into consideration when designing your wall frames, resulting in a precise fit on-site.

How is the product delivered?
At Prefab Technology Pty Ltd, we strive to achieve the best solution for our customers. All our products are delivered on crane or tray trucks. Providing good access to site enables us to position the product at the desired location.
Can I support trusses on internal walls?
Generally, trusses are designed to sit on external walls only (20mm clearance required between truss bottom chord and internal top plates). However, internal walls may be load bearing provided Prefab Technology is informed prior to fabrication.
Why floor trusses over solid joists?
Larger spans, no 1800c/c nogs, accommodation for services, uniform size, long lengths, and an engineer designed product.
What about plaster ceilings?
Prefab Technology recommends that all ceilings should be battened due to camber variation in bottom chords of trusses.
Can I support a solar hot water system on the roof?
Size, capacity and position of the unit to be given to Prefab Technology prior to fabrication.
Why are prefabricated trusses & walls better?
Trusses can be manufactured to suit most roof shapes. Our team can design and manufacture as per your individual needs making construction times considerably less. A site measure will ensure a perfect result.
Q. How do we except payments?
We except Cash, Cheque, EFT & Credit card (1.5% Surcharge).
Can I use the spans in the truss for storage?
Yes provided Prefab Technology knows your intentions and approximate weight to be stored prior fabrication.
