      Our mission is to work in partnership with families and the community to assist children in developing their fullest potential.

      Portside Pre School and Long Day Care Centre, Port Macquarie, is a boutique high quality child care centre where the children learn in small groups with experienced teachers and educators. Portside are also the closest Long Day Care Centre to the Port Macquarie CBD. Our transition to school or school readiness curriculum is well received by kindergarten teachers. Our centre boasts a unique park like outdoor play area with plenty of room to run around. Our natural outdoor environment is spacious shaded in a safe and secure park like setting.

      Craft, visual arts, computer, music, community concerts, language, science, early literacy & numeracy, Early Years Learning Framework National Education Curriculum (EYLF), School Readiness Program, Qualified, Government fee subsidy & working or studying parent rebate available, Before & After School Care available & opposite Cundletown public school, Service for Greater Taree area & the Manning Valley

      Does the Centre have a school readiness program?

      Every activity & experience is preparing your child for school. In addition in the year before Kindergarten the 'Kangaroo group" have a formal program where school preparation includes name writing, extended numeracy, literacy & listening activities.
