Endodontics is also known as root canal treatment. Root canal treatment is a safe procedure. Root canal treatment is undertaken to save your tooth in a safe and comfortable environment. Each procedure is undertaken under local anaesthetic and also under nitrous oxide sedation if you would prefer. There are a number of reasons why you would be requiring root canal treatment. The most common would be for an infected pulp, cracked teeth, tooth sensitivity and dental trauma.
