      Can I see a podiatrist for an acute sporting injury?

      Absolutely, the sooner the better!


      Do I need to bring anything to my consultation?

      If you have previously consulted another Health Care Provider about your condition, have had investigations, such as an X-Ray, MRI, CT or have had blood tests, please bring copies of these results with you. Also, please bring along any footwear that you wear regularly and wear shorts, or loose fitting clothing to allow easy assessment.


      Do I need a referral to see a podiatrist?

      No you do not need a referral to see a podiatrist, just phone and make an appointment!


      Do you have appointments after hours?

      Sure do. We are open late on a Wednesday evening and on Saturday mornings


      Do you do orthotics?

      Yes we do. Custom Orthotics are shoe inserts made to your individual biomechanical needs. They cannot be prescribed unless a thorough biomechanical assessment has been done by one of our qualified Podiatrists.


      Does Darwin Podiatry stock footwear?

      Yes! We stock a range of footwear that not only looks good, but is good for your feet. Some of our brands include Frankie 4, Silver Lining, Vionic, Revere and Orthoheel


      Can I use my private health insurance?

      Yes, you can use your private health insurance, if you have ancillary or extras cover for podiatry. Bring your private health insurance card along to your appointment. At the end of the consult the card is simply swiped through the HICAPS or TYRO machine and you then only pay the gap
