Can't Believe this place and how unprofessional they (mainly one staff member) are. Went in to buy some fence extensions to raise a fence myself. Upon entering the office staff member was very unprofessionally having an argument on the phone then once off the phone began complaining to me about the lack of doctors available in bendigo, I ignored this and asked what parts would be required to do my job and was sold a box of risers to do the job. Went to attempt the job that weekend and realised as soon as I opened the box the risers sold to me did not fit the type of fence. Job couldn't be completed. Wasted more time trying to get the correct pieces. Went to take back the incorrect risers this morning. Samantha in the office (same staff member from last time) from the get go was incredibly rude. She unpacked the box of risers and found scratches on nearly every single piece. She straight away tried to say I had damaged them and implied I was a liar when I explained I only opened the box realised the first one out of the box was wrong then closed the box. She then went on to say it was my fault for not specifying what type of fence I had and that even though they are a fencing company it's not there job to ask. She then proceeded to lie and say she told me when I purchased that there was no refunds. This was never mentioned. In the end after getting quite aggressive towards me and blaming me for being sold the wrong thing I was given a refund. I would never deal with them again and advise no one else to either.

Never turn up and no communication, Constant excuses and rude manager top rails are wavy and nil interes in fixing. Big regrets with this choice

A few years ago I had colorbond fences & gates installed from my house to both side boundary fences. This was by Scanlon Contracting. I only had praise for the job done by them.



Then I had a garage extension built & I would require another colorbond fence & gate to be installed between the house & garage. I requested a keyed lock on the gate this time. So I didn’t hesitate in having Scanlon do this job.



What a mistake !!! First off they didn’t put a lock on... just the similar gate latch that I had on the previous gate. So a phone call to their office – as the blokes had already left the job. I was told that they were waiting for the keyed lock one to arrive... & so put this one on... A day or so later the latch was replaced with a lock one – again the workers left without even a courtesy of telling me that it had been done. The keys were actually left in the lock. Well... the lock wouldn’t lock... was I doing something wrong??? This was eventually fixed... which didn’t last very long... The inside of the gate lock was loose... and very quickly became once more inoperable... Maybe because of the different hardware affixed to the post perhaps... This time I took a video & sent that so that they knew what was wrong... & I waited... & waited... The screws appeared to have been stripped... Now I wonder what could have caused that... – I’ll be back tomorrow... Well tomorrow has turned into many weeks.



I would NOT recommend this company anymore – The work has been cheap & nasty & absolutely NO pride shown by them to firstly get the job right in the first place, or even follow up with their lousy workmanship.



Quality of Work – That doesn’t exist, Customer Service – Nil. Overall - Score between One to Ten = has to be rated as ZERO as One would be an exaggeration.

They did not finish all the work, I chased them for a long time! They promised several times to come and finish it but never did.
